The Topside Umbilical Termination Unit (TUTU) is a standalone module which is located adjacent to the umbilical hang-off and it serves as an interface between umbilical and platform equipment. At the other end of the umbilical is usually another TUTU. It can be used for a wide variety of purposes of which is for example the interface between the Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) and the Master Control System (MCS). The Electrical Power Unit (EPU) to the Subsea Distribution Unit (SDU).
