A HIPPS control box is a simplified On/Off control box with only two (2) SIL certified solenoid valves in series with a large flow in order to meet the required opening and closing time.
The control box is always working in combination with a Logic Solver and a Pressure Measurement voting system (2oo3 Pressure Transmitters).
